    Designing and building original statement pieces is our love and our passion. We have consciously assembled a diverse team of artists and craftspeople who exhibit the special skills needed to create and fine tune your one-of-a-kind piece. They do so in the spirit of true camaraderie at our spacious custom furniture production facility outside Cleveland, Ohio. And they do so using the highest quality materials to ensure each work of art remains as functional as it is beautiful for years and years to come.

  • About CVCF

    Sheldon Myeroff founded Chagrin Valley Custom Furniture in 2013 as a way to stay active, do what he loved to do, and exercise his creativity following his retirement in 2018. Little did he know then that the basement he called his workshop would evolve into a 6000 square foot production facility with some of the country’s best designers and furniture-makers – all staying active, doing what they love to do, and exercising their creativity day in and day out.   •  How Do You Make A River Table?

    • The “river” in a “River Table” is created by the furniture making team at Chagrin Valley Custom Furniture. A River Table is a live edge table that uses colored epoxy resin to fill the gap between two opposing live edge pieces– thus creating the appearance of a small “river.”

  • Why Is Epoxy So Expensive?

    • The epoxy resins used by CVCF river table builders to coat river table tops are more expensive than casting (polyester or liquid synthetic) resins which are used for molds, figurines, industrial prototypes, jewelry and crafts. Casting resins cost less than clear epoxy resins but CVCF normally uses more expensive epoxy resins to build the highest quality handcrafted and custom designed river tables, due to their strength.

  • What Is The Best Epoxy For A River Table?
