Meet Ed Johnson

Admin Manager

Ed is a veteran furniture maker who joined CVCF when we moved into our new shop facility in 2017. Ed came to Cleveland from Freehold, New Jersey, where he gained experience in a variety of fields following earning his BS in Marketing/Management at St. Jospeh University, including auto retailing and the oil industry. Throughout that time, his passion for woodworking grew, as did his experience in the art.

For over 40 years, Ed has pursued woodworking as a hobby while studying under some of the great furniture making mentors of our day – including Ernie Conover and James Krenov of the Krenov School in Fort Bragg, California. Today, he brings the experience of a variety of disciplines to our shop, as well as aministrative skills to keep payments logged and delivery schedules timely.

After work, Ed likes to unwind with smaller woodworking projects, such as making unique cutting boards and wood cutlery, and walking his great dane.
