Custom CNC Engraved Tables & Epoxy Resin Filled Logo Tables

Chagrin Valley Custom Furniture custom handcrafts CNC-engraved & epoxy resin-filled conference tables that incorporate the logo of the company into the design. This is accomplished by using a computer-programmed CNC router to cut a precision path through the wood surface. Then colored epoxy is poured into the hollows created by the router. Before we cut into the wood, we create 3D renders of our clients’ designs for their approval – then our team of talented epoxy artists, technicians and woodworkers bring their idea to life.

Pictured here is one of our custom CNC-engraved logo epoxy conference tables. An IT company called Pioneer 360 reached out to us with an idea to have their company logo etched onto a table. We programmed the CNC router to cut the letters and then filled them with tinted epoxy resin that matched their brand’s colors. This piece also features a blue-green epoxy river with small microchips made by Pioneer 360 floating along in it. We delivered this project to their headquarters in New Philadelphia, Ohio in 2020. Creating A CNC-Carved Mississippi River Table

In addition to CNC-engraved logo conference tables, we carve waterway topography features into tabletops and desktops. These include the mapped contours of actual rivers, lakes, bays, and even ocean shorelines!

Capt. Michael Bopp, President of the Crescent River Port Pilots’ Association in New Orleans, reached out to us in 2020 with the incredible idea to have the Mississippi River carved into a conference table. We pulled up a map of a section of the Lower Mississippi River and created a vector file from it. The file was uploaded to our Shaper CNC Router and the image transferred onto the 19′ black walnut slabs. From there, our CNC router carved the outline of the river into the wood with digital precision. The router also carved out smaller areas in the wood for inlays such as compasses and medallions.

Other waterscape features we have carved into tabletops and filled with epoxy include the Hudson River, the Chesapeake Bay, the Long Island Sound coastline, and a series of Rocky Mountain lakes, to name just a few.

Chagrin Valley Custom Furniture uses CNC engraving and epoxy resin to design and build custom conference tables that include company logos and branding elements like company colors and embedded branding objects. This video shows you an amazing conference table for an IT company with their multi-colored logo CNC-engraved in the tabletop and microchips embedded in a green epoxy resin river. The table was created for Pioneer 360 in New Philadelphia, Ohio. The tabletop is made from hickory wood. The metal legs were made in our metalworks facility specifically for this table, with a rectangular metal support system underneath to help prevent warping of the wood. Logos and branding elements can be incorporated into any conference table by CVCF. There are several ways to achieve this: carving and then inlaying your logo into the wood surface, overlaying a vinyl image or laminate sheet of your logo, or CNC-engraving the wood surface and filling the depression with colored epoxy resin.

Watch Lake Sunapee CNC-Carved Into a Tabletop

In this video, furniture designer Sky Ironhorse programs and operates a handheld CNC Router to carve the outline of Lake Sunapee, New Hampshire into the top of a table that is then filled with colored epoxy. Chagrin Valley Custom Furniture fulfilled the request of a couple by making this one-of-a-kind dining table for their luxury lake house. Instead of routing or engraving by hand, a tedious and error-prone process, Lake Sunapee was carved out with a CNC router guided by a computer-generated CAD drawing of the lake for precision accuracy. CVCF filled it with blue epoxy resin to represent the water. CVCF specializes in true custom epoxy resin and wood river tables at our furniture-making facility in Cleveland, Ohio. Every piece is one-of-a-kind, designed by the client and built by CVCF. In this video, you’ll see really amazing custom tables with the center of the tabletop carved out to replicate the shapes of bodies of water in the U.S. and then filled with colored epoxy. You’ll watch how these tables are handmade, one by one, by Chagrin Valley Custom Furniture in our Cleveland, Ohio production facility. You’ll see wood and epoxy topographic dining tables, kitchen tables, coffee and other small tables with the shapes of the Mississippi River, Chesapeake Bay, Lake Tahoe, Walloon Lake in Michigan, Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire, the Ohio River, and more.

Our customers tell or show us their design ideas for a river, lake, waterway or ocean table. We refine their idea, map out the design in a 3-D software program, upload the file to a CNC router, and begin the process of cutting out the feature in the wood tabletop. We then fill the engraved area with colored epoxy resin and add a beautiful sheen to the tabletop with a catalyzed varnish finish applied in our spray room.
