In a new collaboration with Bent Nail Millwork in Lodi, Ohio, Chagrin Valley Custom Furniture is now building custom hardwood front entry and exterior doors with resin panels for homes and businesses.
Hardwoods used in every custom door project are built from the finest wood species, durable enough to stand the test of time.
Seen here is a set of exterior double doors with translucent black resin panels and olive wood burl. This is just an example – each element of this design can be customized to your liking.
Customization Options
- The style and dimensions of your custom door(s). Popular styles include single entry doors, double entry doors, doors with sidelights, french doors, and more.
- The color and opacity you are seeking for the resin panels. These panels are placed where glass would traditionally be placed in similar kinds of exterior or entryway doors.
- Resin panels have embedded burl or wood rounds to create the breathtaking, suspended-artwork effect seen below. Popular choices for wood species to be embedded in the resin include black walnut, claro walnut, maple, cherry, elm, olive wood, red wood, buckeye burl, and mappa burl.
