Nobody knows the requirements of a coffee table better than you. And that’s why Chagrin Valley lets you design your own coffee table for us to build. We handcraft completely custom river coffee tables using natural hardwood slabs and filled with colorful, eco-friendly epoxy resin (for those who absolutely love our river tables). It’s like bringing the outdoors…indoors.
Tell us or show us your idea for a dream coffee table. Choose the wood type, the legs, the shape, and the color of the epoxy. Embed river stones, gemstones, shells, or special memorabilia in the epoxy. Light the epoxy from underneath the table for a stunning glowing effect.
Not only do you help design the table, you’re part of the furniture making process from forest to furnishing as we keep you in the loop from the time we select the slab to the day we ship the final product to your location anywhere in the continental United States.

Each custom epoxy and wood coffee table is handcrafted with meticulous attention to every precise detail, using only the highest quality materials and components. Every slab is kiln dried to less than 8% moisture content, which prevents warping over time. For our resin, we use the most reputable American brands – including Ecopoxy and Totalboat’s products. And, for our finishes, we use the most durable catalyzed lacquer Mohawk Finishing Products has available. Pricing Your Coffee Table
Prices vary based on a vast number of factors surrounding the complexity and requirements of your custom table. Factors involving your tabletop include: your species of wood, the amount of epoxy, the thickness of your chosen slab, the length of your table, what kind of embedded items you choose in your table, and if you want the piece to light up with custom LED light installation beneath the resin.
The legs or base you choose can also greatly impact pricing. “Standard” bases are cheaper than “specialty,” and “specialty” bases will usually be cheaper than completely custom legs or bases. Choosing a custom option with ergonomic functions, or the ability to electronically control the height of the tabletop (making it into a standing table/desk) will increase the net price of your project.

Each base style is custom designed by our metalsmiths to enhance the aesthetic of your river tabletop and to properly support the dimensions of the table. Choose from our custom designed standard bases and specialty bases or send us your design idea for something completely original.
