Chagrin Valley has no pre-built parts. We have no warehouse or assembly lines. What we do have is a large woodworking facility, the most advanced furniture- making equipment and tools, some of the finest furniture designers and woodworking artisans in America, and, most importantly, a vision to build on – your vision. In other words, at Chagrin Valley, what you seek is what you get.

If you’re seeking a high end, one-of-a-kind piece handcrafted from your unique design idea, you’ve come to the right place. Because we make only true custom furniture – inspired by you and built from scratch by masters of their craft. Every piece is an original – you’ve never seen anything like it before. You’ll never see anything like it again. Even with our full staff on board, we can only make a dozen or so projects a month because the process is done with such precision and attention to detail. In some ways, it’s similar to making a Bentley or Rolls Royce. Each part is meticulously assembled by specialists until, “Voila”, the most beautiful, highest quality machine is finally driven out into the world. Except in our case, the machine is a dining table, conference table, workstation, desk, or other exquisite piece of furniture.

You see, furniture making was only a hobby of Sheldon’s while he was busy running his own executive recruiting business. Upon retirement, Sheldon left the company, but his passion for furniture-making never left Sheldon. Instead, it propelled him into a new purpose in life – a custom furniture company built on a passion for quality and beauty, and where the customer is an equal partner in the conception and creation of something amazing. And that’s how Sheldon’s dream turned Chagrin Valley Custom Furniture into one of America’s most original, highest quality custom furniture makers in just a few short years. It’s true.
